<br />ORDINANCE NO. 2004-042 <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS, <br />PARIS, TEXAS, PROVIDING FOR THE EXTENSION OF CERTAIN <br />BOUNDARY LIMITS OF THE CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS, AND <br />THE ANNEXATION OF CERTAIN TERRITORY CONSISTING OF <br />13.635 ACRES, MORE OR LESS, AS REQUESTED BY PETITION OF <br />THE OWNERS THEREOF; GRANTING TO SAID TERRITORY AND TO <br />ALL FUTURE INHABITANTS OF SAID PROPERTY ALL OF THE <br />RIGHTS AND PRIVILEGES OF OTHER CITIZENS AND BINDING <br />SAID FUTURE INHABITANTS BY ALL OF THE ACTS AND <br />ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF PARIS; MAKING OTHER FINDINGS <br />AND PROVISIONS RELATED TO THE SUBJECT; REPEALING ALL <br />ORDINANCES OR PARTS OF ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT <br />HEREWITH; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, a petition of annexation has been duly signed and acknowledged by each <br />and every person or corporation having an interest in the following described territory, to-wit: <br /> <br />Being all that certain tract of land situated in Lamar <br />County, Texas, a part of the Wesley Askins Survey, Abstract No. <br />7, a part of the 100.00 acre tract of land conveyed to D. Wayne <br />Brown, et al., by deed recorded in Volume 939, Page 31 of the <br />Lamar County Real Property Records, and a part of the 121.76 <br />acre tract of land conveyed to D. Wayne Brown, et al., by deed <br />recorded in Volume 949, Page 296 of the Lamar County Real <br />Property Records, and being further described as follows: <br />BEGINNING at an iron pin found at the Northeasterly corner of Lot 17, <br />Block B, of The Hills Phase III as recorded in Envelope No. 371-C of the <br />Lamar County Plat Records; <br />THENCE South 580 32' 57" West a distance of 411.55 feet to an iron <br />pin found for corner at the most Northwesterly corner of Lot 20, Block B, of <br />said The Hills Phase III, said pin being in the Northeast R.O.W. of North Hills <br />Drive; <br />THENCE South 530 54' 04" West a distance of 60.10 feet to an iron pin <br />found for corner at the most Northeasterly corner of Lot 1, Block E, of said The <br />Hills Phase III, said pin being in the Southwest R.O.W. of said North Hills <br />Drive; <br />THENCE South 51005' 37" West, a distance of 511.48 feet to an iron <br />pin found for corner at the most Northerly corner of Lot 6, Block E, of said The <br />Hills Phase III, said pin being the most Westerly corner of Lot 5, Block E, of <br />said The Hills Phase III; <br />THENCE South 54054' 28" West a distance of 300.67 feet to an iron <br />pin found for corner at the most Northerly corner of Lot 9, Block E, of The <br />
