AMENDED CITY COUNCIL AGENDA Notice is hereby given that the City Council of the City of Paris shall meet in special session at 6:00 p.m. on Monday, December 15, 2008. The meeting will be held at the City Council Chamber, 107 E. Kaufman Street, in Paris, Texas. The matters to be discussed and acted upon are as follows: Opening Agenda 1. Call meeting to order. 2. Invocation. 3. Pledge of Allegiance. 4. Citizens' forum. (Persons desiring to address the Councii must limit their presentation to no more than two minutes. The Texas Open Meetings Act prohibits the Council from responding to any comments other than to refer the matter to a future agenda, to an existing policy, or to a staff person with specific factual information. Claims against the City, Council Members, or employees, as well as individual personnel appeals are not appropriate for citizens' forum.) Regular Agenda 5. Deliberate and possibly act on an ordinance approving a long-term electric power contract with Cities Aggregation Power Project for electric capacity and energy; and authorizing the City Manager to negotiate and execute all necessary documents. 6. Receipt of report from PEDC Director Pete Kampfer on a community plan; deliberate and possibly act on a resolution supporting a community plan. 7. Second reading, deliberate and possibly act on an ordinance considering the petition of Don Wilson for a change in zoning from a Planned Development District (PD-al) Commercial Center/(PD-b) Housing Development or Community Unit Development to a Planned Development District (PD-al) Commercial Center on Lots 13, 13-A, 13-13, 13-C, City Block 259, being located in the 2800 block of Pine Mill Road. 8. Deliberate and possibly act on a resolution ratifying and approving the granting of an Encroachment on Easement Agreement between the City of Paris and Paris Warehouse 107, Inc. for a security office to be constructed on main drive leading into warehouse facility at 1810 S.W. Loop 286. 9. Adjournment.
