<br />Maximum Excursion <br />0.5 pH unit <br />1.0 pH unit <br />1.5 pH unit <br /> <br />Duration <br />not to exceed 60 min. <br />not to exceed 30 min, <br />not to exceed 10 min. <br /> <br />Such excursions shall be at the discretion of the supervisor, <br /> <br />"(d) Any petroleum based oil or grease except in trace amounts and as specified <br />in this article, non-biodegradable cutting oil, or any other petroleum-based on <br />mineral oil based material that will cause pass through or interference with the <br />POTW. <br /> <br />"(e) Any discharge that results in toxic gases, vapors, or fumes within the POTW <br />in a quantity that may endanger the health or safety of POTW personnel or the <br />general public, or create a public nuisance. <br /> <br />"(f) Any discharge to the POTW having a temperature which will inhibit <br />biological activity in the POTW treatment plant resulting in interference, cause <br />damage to the POTW, increase the temperature of the total treatment plant influent <br />at a rate of (10) degrees fahrenheit or more per hour, or cause the total treatment <br />plant influent to exceed one-hundred four (104) degrees Fahrenheit (forty (40) <br />degrees Celsius), <br /> <br />"(g) Any pollutant, including oxygen demanding pollutants (BOD, COD, etc,) <br />released in a discharge at a flow rate and/or pollutant concentration that will cause <br />interference with the POTW. <br /> <br />"(h) Any trucked or hauled waste including, but not limited to, septage, grease <br />trap wastes, and grit trap wastes except as specified in this article. Such wastes shall <br />only be discharged to the POTW at points designated by the City. Any wastes <br />defined as hazardous by RCRA standards will not be accepted, Each load brought <br />to the POTW must bear a signed certification statement declaring the load non- <br />hazardous on the trip manifest. <br /> <br />"(i) Any wastewater or other substance containing toxic pollutants in any <br />sufficient quantity, either singly or by interaction with other pollutants, to interfere <br />with any wastewater treatment process, cause damage to any part of the POTW, <br />cause a hazard to POTW personnel, the public 'or the environment, or create a toxic <br />effect in the receiving stream of the POTW. <br /> <br />"0) Any wastewater or other substance with objectionable color not removed in <br />the treatment process, such as but not limited to, dye wastes and vegetable tanning <br />solutions. <br /> <br />"(k) Any pollutant regulated pursuant to any categorical pretreatment standard <br />promulgated by the EP A or TCEQ in a concentration or amount which is in excess <br />of the limit specified in the standard. <br /> <br />32 <br />
