<br />RESOLUTION NO. 2001-059
<br />
<br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS,
<br />PARIS, TEXAS, APPROVING CHANGE ORDER NO. ONE TO THE
<br />CONTRACT BETWEEN THE CITY OF PARIS AND SERVICE ELECTRIC
<br />OF SOUTHEASTERN OKLAHOMA, INC. FOR THE INSTALLATION OF
<br />ELECTRICAL SERVICE FOR THE NEW FIRE STATION NO. TWO;
<br />MAKING OTHER FINDINGS AND PROVISIONS RELATED TO THE
<br />SUBJECT; AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
<br />
<br />WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Paris did heretofore, on the 10th day of April,
<br />2000, in Resolution No.2000-052, award the contract for the installation of electrical service for the
<br />new "Fire Station No. Two, located at 4050 Pine Mill Road Project" to Service Electric of
<br />Southeastern Oklahoma, Inc.; and,
<br />
<br />WHEREAS, the acting City Engineer, acting as project engineer, recommends the
<br />amendment of the contract for said Fire Station No. Two project to reroute service, install two (2)
<br />underground electrical conduits, and relocate thermostats, providing for a net increase of $1,132.76
<br />in the contract price; and,
<br />
<br />WHEREAS, the form of Change Order No. One, attached hereto as Exhibit A, should, in
<br />all things, be approved, and the Mayor should be authorized to execute the same; NOW,
<br />THEREFORE,
<br />
<br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS, PARIS,
<br />TEXAS:
<br />
<br />Section 1. That the findings set out in the preamble to this resolution are hereby in all things
<br />approved.
<br />
<br />Section 2. That the form of Change Order No. One to the contract between the City of Paris
<br />and Service Electric of Southeastern Oklahoma, Inc. for electric service for the "Fire Station No.
<br />Two, located at4050 Pine Mill Road Project," attached hereto as Exhibit A, to reroute service, install
<br />two (2) underground electrical conduits, and relocate thermostats, providing for a net increase of
<br />$1,132.76 in the contract price, be, and the same is hereby, approved.
<br />
<br />Section 3. That the Mayor be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to execute, on behalf
<br />of the City of Paris, said Change Order No. One, upon the terms and conditions and in the form
<br />shown in Exhibit A, attached hereto.
<br />
<br />Section 4. That this resolution shall be effective from and after its date of passage.
