<br />~ <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2002-180 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS, <br />PARIS, TEXAS, AWARDING THE BID FOR FURNISHING AND <br />DELIVERY OF UNLEADED GASOLINE AND DIESEL FUEL FOR USE BY <br />VARIOUS DEPARTMENTS OF THE CITY OF PARIS; MAKING OTHER <br />FINDINGS AND PROVISIONS RELATED TO THE SUBJECT; AND <br />DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Paris did heretofore, on the II th day of <br />November, 2002, in Resolution No. 2002-169, approve the advertisement for bids for the <br />furnishing and delivery of unleaded gasoline and diesel fuel for use by various departments of <br />the City of Paris, which bids were received until 3:00 o'clock P.M., Tuesday, the 3rd day of <br />December, 2002; and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the best bid for such fuel was made by Blankinship Oil Company of Paris, <br />Texas, and it should be awarded the bid for the same; NOW, THEREFORE, <br /> <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, <br />TEXAS: <br /> <br />Section 1. That the findings set out in the preamble to this resolution are hereby in all <br />things approved. <br /> <br />Section 2. That the bid of Blankinship Oil Company, attached hereto as Exhibit A, for <br />the furnishing and delivery of unleaded gasoline and diesel fuel for use by various departments <br />of the City of Paris be, and the same is hereby, accepted and let conditioned upon said provider <br />meeting all of the terms and specifications included in the bid documents. <br /> <br />Section 3. That this resolution shall be effective from and after the date of passage. <br /> <br />PASSED AND APPROVED this 9th day of December, 2002. <br /> <br />~~~ <br /> <br />Michael 1.
