r- ---. RESOLUTION NO. 2002-1B3 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS, APPROVING CHANGE ORDER NO. ONE & FINAL TO CONTRACT NO. 2 WITH AMERICAN RESTORATION, INC. FOR CARPENTRY WORK; MAKING OTHER FINDINGS AND PROVISIONS RELATED TO THE SUBJECT; AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Paris did heretofore, by prior resolution, award the Contract No.2 for Carpentry work for the "Paris Santa-Fe Depot Rehabilitation Project," to American Restoration, Inc.; and, WHEREAS, the Construction Manager, Wendell Moore, acting as Construction Manager, recommends the amendment of the contract for said project to change the scope of the project, and providing for a net increase of $19,677.00 in the contract price; and, WHEREAS, the form of Change Order No. One & Final, attached hereto as Exhibit A, should, in all things, be approved, and the Mayor of the City of Paris should be authorized to execute the same; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS: Section 1. That the findings set out in the preamble of this resolution are hereby in all things approved. Section 2. That the form of Change Order No. One & Final to the Contract No. 2 for the carpentry work for the "Paris Santa-Fe Depot Rehabilitation Project," attached hereto as Exhibit A, to change the scope of the project as described therein, and providing for a net increase of $19,677.00 in the contract price, be, and the same is hereby, approved. Section 3. That the Mayor be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to execute, on behalf of the City of Paris, said Change Order No. One & Final, upon the terms and conditions and in the form shown in Exhibit A, attached hereto. Section 4. That this resolution shall be effective from and after the date of passage. PASSED AND APPROVED this 9th day of December, 2002. ~l~~
