<br />RESOLUTION NO. 2002-1B5
<br />
<br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS,
<br />PARIS, TEXAS, APPROVING CHANGE ORDERS NOS. ONE AND TWO &
<br />FINAL TO CONTRACT NO.5 WITH PHOENIX I RESTORATION &
<br />CONSTRUCTION, LTD FOR ELECTRICAL WORK; MAKING OTHER
<br />FINDINGS AND PROVISIONS RELATED TO THE SUBJECT; AND
<br />DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
<br />
<br />WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Paris did heretofore, by prior resolution,
<br />award Contract No.5 for electrical work for the "Paris Santa-Fe Depot Rehabilitation Project,"
<br />to Phoenix I Restoration & Construction, Ltd.; and,
<br />
<br />WHEREAS, the Construction Manager, Wendell Moore, acting as Construction
<br />Manager, recommends the amendment of the contract for said project to change the scope of
<br />the project, and providing for a net increase of $1,970.00 in the contract price; and,
<br />
<br />WHEREAS, the Construction Manager recommends the additional amendment of the
<br />contract for said project to change the scope of the project, and providing for a net increase of
<br />$1,019.00 in the contract price; and
<br />
<br />WHEREAS, the forms of Change Orders Nos. One and Two & Final, attached hereto
<br />as Exhibits A and B, respectively, should, in all things, be approved, and the Mayor of the City
<br />of Paris should be authorized to execute the same; NOW, THEREFORE,
<br />
<br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS, PARIS,
<br />TEXAS:

<br />Section 1. That the findings set out in the preamble ofthis resolution are hereby in all
<br />things approved.
<br />
<br />Section 2. That the form of Change Order No. One to Contract No.5 for the electrical
<br />work for the "Paris Santa-Fe Depot Rehabilitation Project," attached hereto as Exhibit A, to
<br />change the scope of the project as described therein, and providing for a net increase of
<br />$1,970.00 in the contract price, be, and the same is hereby, approved.
<br />
<br />Section 3. That the form of Change Order No. Two & Final to Contract No.5 for the
<br />electrical work for the "Paris Santa-Fe Depot Rehabilitation Project", attached hereto as Exhibit
<br />B, to change the scope of the project as described therein, and providing for a net increase of
<br />$1,019.00 in the contract price, be, and the same is hereby, approved.
<br />
<br />Section 4. That the Mayor be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to execute, on
<br />behalf of the City of Paris, said Change Orders Nos. One and Two & Final, upon the terms and
<br />conditions and in the forms shown in Exhibits A and B, attached hereto.
