<br />RESOLUTION NO. 2002-106
<br />
<br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS,
<br />PARIS, TEXAS, APPOINTING MEMBERS TO THE BOARD OF
<br />ADJUSTMENT OF THE CITY OF PARIS, MAKING OTHER FINDINGS
<br />AND PROVISIONS RELATED TO THE SUBJECT; AND PROVIDING FOR
<br />AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
<br />
<br />WHEREAS, the terms of office ofF. D. Mallory, III, Edith Bills, W. M. Lightfoot, Toni
<br />Clem, and Richard Nafe, as members of the Board of Adjustment of the City of Paris, expired on
<br />December 31, 2000; and,
<br />
<br />WHEREAS, the terms of office of Bill Davidson and Tommy Gantt, as alternate members
<br />of the Board of Adjustment of the City of Paris, expired on June 30, 2001; and,
<br />
<br />WHEREAS, the Mayor of the City of Paris does hereby recommend the reappointments
<br />of Edith Bills, W. M. Lightfoot, Toni Clem, and Richard Nafe and the appointment of Tommy
<br />Gantt as members of the Board of Adjustment for terms of two (2) years, beginning January 1,
<br />2001, and ending December 31,2002; and,
<br />
<br />WHEREAS, the Mayor of the City of Paris does hereby recommend the appointment of
<br />Steve Glover as an alternate member of the Board of Adjustment for a term of two (2) years,
<br />beginning July 1, 2001, and ending June 30, 2003; NOW, THEREFORE,
<br />
<br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS, PARIS,
<br />TEXAS:
<br />
<br />Section 1. That the findings set out in the preamble to this resolution are hereby in all
<br />things approved.
<br />
<br />Section 2. That Edith Bills, W. M. Lightfoot, Toni Clem and Richard Nafe be, and they
<br />are hereby, reappointed, and that Tommy Gantt be, and he is hereby, appointed to serve as
<br />members of the Board of Adjustment of the City of Paris for terms of two (2) years, beginning
<br />January 1, 2001, and ending December 31, 2002.
<br />
<br />Section 3. That Steve Glover be, and he is hereby, appointed to serve as an alternate
<br />member of the Board of Adjustment of the City of Paris for a term of two (2) years, beginning
<br />July 1,2001, and ending June 30, 2003.
<br />
<br />Section 4. That this resolution shall be effective from and after its date of passage.
<br />
