The Total <br />Coliform Rule and the Lead and Copper Rule are now in effect. The EPA has <br />proposed the Stage 2 Disinfectants/Disinfection Byproducts Rule (D/DBPR) and the <br />Long-Team 2 Enhanced Surface Water Treatment Rule (LT2ESwrR). These rules <br />will require more thorough monitoring and treatment. <br /> <br />Treatment plants should consider a variety of compliance options.
