<br />RESOLUTION <br /> <br />The State of Texas <br />County of Lamar <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Lamar County owns a bridge located at Rowdv Creek. on CR 25500 , National <br />Bridge Inventory Structure Number 0 1-139-AA0542-00 1; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Texas Department of Transportation, hereinafter referred to as the State, has <br />determined that the cited structure is structurally deficient for vehicular traffic; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, a project to replace the cited deficient structure is included in the currently <br />approved program of projects by the Texas Transportation Commission; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Texas Historical Commission has determined that the cited structure has <br />historical significance; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the cited structure could be used for non-vehicular traffic following minimal <br />pedestrian element modifications (i.e. hand rails) to said structure; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, placement of the existing historically significant structure in Heritage Park in the <br />city of Paris would be beneficial to the People of all of Lamar County. <br /> <br />THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that Lamar County transfer ownership of the cited existing <br />structure to the City of Paris, and the Commissioners Court for Lamar County hereby authorizes <br />the Lamar County Judge to enter in to an Agreement with the State and the City of Paris to effect <br />said change of ownership, relocation and rehabilitation of the existing historically significant <br />structure. <br /> <br />~~~ IOOV. <br />APPROVED this _ day of 2003, by the Lamar Commissioners Court. <br /> <br />SIGNED: <br /> <br />f( /~, <br /> <br />M.C.
