<br />COOPERATIVE AGREEMENT NO. ATC03000218 <br /> <br />Requests for certificates' can be downloaded from www.atf.gov/great/train.htm and <br />faxed to Janelle Scayles, at (202) 927-3180 or (202) 927-3182. The number of <br />certificates ordered shall reflect the actual number of students enrolled in the program, <br />as thi~ information may affect future funding. <br /> <br />PHASES IT and ill OF G.R.E.A.T. <br /> <br />The Paris Police Department shall submit an implementation plan for phases IT and ill <br />by May I, 2003 to your Regional Point of Contact. Implementation of Phases IT and <br />ill must support Phase I of this Agreement and be in accordance with the following <br />guidelines: <br /> <br />Phase II <br /> <br />The Paris Police Department will be required to coordinate summer <br />education/recreation activities at sites selected by the cognizant police <br />department.(See attached list.) <br /> <br />Additionally, the Paris Police Department will attempt to match available existing <br />community programs and resources with G.RE.A.T. students and graduates. <br /> <br />Phase III <br /> <br />The Paris Police Department will institute the G.RE.AT. <br />Families Curriculum to engage families as part of our community policing efforts to <br />reduce crime and delinquency, promote family relations and provide resource <br />information. The curriculum is for adults and children ages 8-14. <br /> <br />G.RE.AT. Families minimum requirements for the staff, meeting space, and <br />materials are listed below. Generally, by using schools, community centers, club <br />training rooms, or church meeting spaces many of the items listed below may be <br />available, along with chairs and tables, from the hosting organization. Ideally, costs <br />associated with G.RE.A T. Families can be kept to a minimum by making use of <br />existing resources from your department and your partners. Please review the list <br />below in order to familiarize yourself with the resources and materials needed to <br />conduct G.RE.AT. families. <br /> <br />2 <br />
