RESOLUTION NO. 2003-115 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS, RATIFYING AND APPROVING AN INTERGOVERNMENTAL AGREEMENT WITH PARIS INDEPENDENT SCHOOL DISTRICT FOR PROVISION OF JUVENILE JUSTICE RESOURCE OFFICER SERVICES TO ALL PISD CAMPUSES DURING 2002-2003; MAKING OTHER FINDINGS AND PROVISIONS RELATED TO THE SUBJECT; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. WHEREAS, the Paris Independent School District requested Juvenile Justice Resource Officer services during the 2002-2003 school year at PISD campuses, and the City of Paris provided such service; and, WHEREAS, providing such services pursuant to an Intergovernmental Agreement, attached hereto as Exhibit A, should, in all things, be ratified and approved, and the Mayor of the City of Paris should be authorized to execute the same; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS: Section 1. That the findings set out in the preamble to this resolution are hereby in all things approved. Section 2. That providing services pursuant to an Intergovernmental Agreement with the Paris Independent School District, attached hereto as Exhibit A, for Juvenile Justice Resource Officer services during 2002-2003 at PISD campuses, be, and the same is hereby, ratified and approved. Section 3. That the Mayor be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to execute, on behalf of the City of Paris, the Intergovernmental Agreement with the Paris Independent School District, under the terms and conditions and in the form shown in Exhibit A, attached hereto.
