<br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS,
<br />PARIS, TEXAS, APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING ADDENDUM NO.2
<br />TO THE AGREEMENT FOR ENGINEERING SERVICES WITH BUCHER,
<br />W1LLIS & RATLIFF CORPORATION FOR WATER DISTRIBUTION
<br />SYSTEM IMPROVEMENTS INCLUDING WATER TRANSMISSION
<br />LINES, WATER STORAGE FACILITIES, AND SYSTEM ANALYSIS
<br />STUDIES; MAKING OTHER FINDINGS AND PROVISIONS RELATED TO
<br />THE SUBJECT; AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DA TE.
<br />
<br />WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Paris, Paris, Texas, did heretofore, on the
<br />11 th day of February, 2002, in Resolution No. 2002-043, approve the execution of an Agreement
<br />for Engineering Services with Bucher, Willis & Ratliff Corporation for_ water distribution system
<br />improvements including water transmission lines, water storage facilities, and system analysis
<br />studies; and,
<br />
<br />WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Paris did heretofore, on the 13th day of
<br />January, 2003, approve Addendum No.1 to said engineering ~er\'ices agreement to revise the
<br />tenns in order to obtain additional on-site construction representation services from Bucher, \\'illis
<br />& Ratliff; and,
<br />
<br />WHEREAS, the City Engineer, Shawn Napier, acting as project engineer, recommends
<br />the amendment of the Agreement for Engineering Services to pIovide for the: transfer of
<br />$10,000.00 in approved funds from the contract category I' Sub-C' onsultants" into the contract
<br />ca::egory "Construction Administration, " as described in said Agreement attached hereto as Exhibit
<br />A, which is covered by the allowance for engineering services, and providing-for no increase in
<br />the contract price; and,
<br />
<br />WHEREAS, the form of Addendum No.2 to the Agreement for Engineering Services,
<br />attached hereto as Exhibit A, should, in all things, be approved, and the Mayor should be
<br />authorized to execute the same; NOW, THEREFORE,
<br />
<br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS, PARIS,
<br />TEXAS:

<br />Section 1. That the findings set out in the preamble to this resolution are hereby in all
<br />things approved.
<br />
<br />Section 2. That the form of Addendum No.2 to the original Agreement for Engineering
<br />Services, dated March 15, 2002, with Bucher, Willis & Ratliff Corporation, attached hereto as
<br />Exhibit A, be, and the same is hereby, approved.
