Investigator - Deputy - Hopkins County: Investigates suspected illegal activities by developing and maintaining contacts with informants, suspects, and :t witnesses. Conducts overt and covert investigations in order to obtain evidence for criminal prosecution. ~ Conducts surveillances, serves subpoenas and warrants, makes arrests, transports suspects, participates in raids. keeps track of offenders, writes investigative reports, and performs other law enforcement and investigative duties as needed or as assigned. Must be at least 21 years of age and a certified peace officer in the State of Texas and must maintain TCLOSE required hours of training. Interdiction/Canine - Sgt. - City of Sulphur Springs: Investigates suspected illegal activities by developing and maintaining contacts with informants, suspects, and witnesses. Conducts overt and covert investigations in order to obtain evidence for criminal prosecution. Conducts surveillances, serves subpoenas and warrants, makes arrests, transports suspects, participates in raids, keeps track of offenders, writes investigative reports, and performs other law enforcement and investigative duties as needed or as assigned. Must be at least 21 years of age and a certified peace officer in the State of Texas and must maintain TCLOSE required hours of Office Manager - City of Sulphur Springs: Responsible for overall day-to-day administrative operation of the task force. Oversees and prepares investigative, confidential informant reports, juvenile reports, defendant photographs and files. Assembles case reports for submission to rosecutors including preparing cover sheet, copies, and additional necessary documents as required by the attorneys. Compiles statistics, Annual and Six Month Progress Reports. Responsible for computer training of investigators and performs weekly maintenance of TLETS computer tower. Approves report transfers to Austin, performs other office support functions such as file maintenance, mail distributions, general typing, and interacts with the general public to answer questions pertaining to the task force and refers other questions to supervisors, J investigators. or ~ther agencies.
