<br />RESOLUTION NO. 2004-019
<br />
<br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS, AMENDING
<br />RESOLUTION NO. 2003-183 TO REFLECT THE CORRECT TERM
<br />EXPIRATION DATE OF CERTAIN MEMBERS OF THE AIRPORT
<br />ADVISORY BOARD; MAKING OTHER FINDINGS AND PROVISIONS
<br />RELATED TO THE SUBJECT; AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
<br />
<br />WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Paris did heretofore, on the 9th day of
<br />December, in Resolution No. 2002-174, reduce the membership of the Airport Advisory Board
<br />from nine (9) to seven (7) and additionally provide that each appointee to the Airport Advisory
<br />Board be appointed thereto for a two (2) year term; and,
<br />
<br />WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Paris did heretofore, on the 8th day of
<br />December, 2003, in Resolution No. 2003-183, appoint certain members to the Airport Advisory
<br />Board; and,
<br />
<br />WHEREAS, said Resolution No. 2003-186 was incorrect in that it provided for terms of
<br />three (3) years and the same requires correction; NOW, THEREFORE,
<br />
<br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS, PARIS,
<br />TEXAS:
<br />
<br />Section 1. That the findings set out in the preamble of this resolution are hereby in all
<br />things approved.
<br />
<br />Section 2. That Resolution No. 2003-183, be, and the same is hereby, amended so that
<br />such shall read as follows:
<br />
<br />"A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS,
<br />PARIS, TEXAS, APPOINTING MEMBERS TO THE AIRPORT ADVISORY
<br />BOARD; MAKING OTHER FINDINGS AND PROVISIONS RELATED TO
<br />THE SUBJECT; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
<br />
<br />WHEREAS, the terms of office of Victor Abeles, Donald R. Morrell,
<br />James Proctor, and Vic Ressler, as members of the Airport Advisory Board of the
<br />City of Paris, will expire on December 31, 2003; and,
<br />
<br />WHEREAS, the Mayor of the City of Paris does hereby recommend the
<br />reappointment of Victor Abeles, Donald R. Morrell, James Proctor, and Vic
<br />Ressler for terms of two (2) years, beginning January 1, 2004, and ending
<br />December 31,2005; NOW, THEREFORE,
<br />
<br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
<br />PARIS, PARIS, TEXAS:
<br />
<br />Section 1. That the findings set out in the preamble to this resolution are
<br />hereby in all things approved.
<br />
<br />Section 2. That Victor Abeles, Donald R. Morrell, James Proctor, and Vic
<br />Ressler be, and they are hereby, reappointed to serve as members of the Airport
<br />Advisory Board of the City of Paris for terms of two (2) years, beginning January
<br />1, 2004, and ending December 31, 2005.
