Although we have
seventeen sites cataloged, we have very little that are prepared for
immediate development. Considering the association PEDC has with
the Paris Industrial Foundation, we have an excellent opportunity to
bring the Northwest Industrial Area, which is owned by the
Foundation, into an industrial park status.
The Northwest Industrial Site has four laned divided highway
access to Loop 286, rail access, and other essential infrastructure to
the property lines. We have already begun access to this site with the
development of Park Street and we now have an excellent
:. opportunity to further that development.
Currently the PEDC has three prospective companies situated
to locate in this industrial park environment. Such an industrial park
would also be an ideal location for a model building program when
we address that issue.
The Paris Economic Development Corporation must be
prepared for potential industrial locations which is our charge from
the Paris City Council. Our industrial allies have told us time and
time again that 85% of all site searches begin with the idea of finding
an existing facility. Having an industrial park is critical to our
development of prospects. We now have the Northwest Industrial
Park defined with clear title and we need to move to design, clearing
and infraStructure development.

EXHIBIT A
ww~ee, parl~texas, com
