<br />Department 64 <br />Paris Public Library <br /> <br />The Library Director is the administrative officer responsible for this department. The Paris Public <br />Librarÿ provides free access to resources for area citizens to read, learn and connect to the full <br />spectrum of ideas and information that is essential to our democracy. The Library serves as a door <br />to learning for preschoolers and as a cornerstone of our local education system. It offers a broad <br />and diverse range of materials to entertain and enlighten in many formats, including books, audio <br />books, videos, music cassettes and computers. It also provides programs that focus on literacy <br />skills and literature appreciation for children and adults. All funding for the Paris Public Library <br />comes from the City of Paris although the resources are provided for and used by citizens <br />throughout Lamar County. <br /> <br />Division 80 <br />Warehouse <br /> <br />The Finance Director is the administrative official responsible for this division of the Finance <br />Department. Funding for~his activity is available through the Water and Sewer Fund as the majority <br />of the supplies maintained are used by the utility related departments and divisions. Division <br />personnel purchase, store, and distribute materials, supplies, and tools used by City departments <br />, and divisions. A perpetual inventory system is maintained. <br /> <br />Division 81 <br />Utility Billing and Collecting , <br />I <br />I <br />The Finance Director is the administrative official responsible for this division of the Finance I <br />Department. Funding for this activity is available through the Water and Sewer Fund. Employees: <br />ofthis division maintain all water, sewer, sanitation, and prorata accounts.
