START-UP BUSINESS AND SMALL <br /> BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT <br /> <br />Encourage start-up business and small business development through the <br />entrepreneurial spirit of the Paris economic environment. <br /> <br /> OBJECTIVE <br /> <br />To have new innovative businesses develop in Paris, as well as to increase the <br />small business sector. <br /> <br /> ACTIONS <br /> <br />1. Coordinate closely with the Small Business Development Center to provide <br />assistance in the development of business plans and creative financing. <br /> <br />2. Work with the Ark-Tex Council of Governments to develop a Revolving Loan <br />Fund for Paris small businesses. <br /> <br />3. Work with Ark-Tex Council of Governments to utilize the Chapman Revolving <br />Loan Fund. <br /> <br />4. Work diligently with city government to establish one-stop, fast track business <br />permitting. <br /> <br />5. Promote the Paris Enterprise Zone Program as a locational incentive. <br /> <br />6. Encourage and assist new industrial support services. <br /> <br />7. Promote city's Revolving Loan Fund. <br />
