MINUTES <br />WORK SESSION <br />LAKE PAT MAYSE STUDY COMMITTEE <br />107 E. KAUFMAN STREET <br />PARIS, TEXAS <br />THURSDAY, DECEMBER 11, 2008 <br />Call the meeting to order. <br />Chairman Hayter called the meeting to order at 4:03 p.m. <br />2. Committee member roll call. <br />City Engineer Shawn Napier called roll. <br />Members present were Herb Campbell, Dennis Chalaire, Reeves Hayter, Gene McWaters, <br />Sharron Nabors, Jim Noble, Richard Quarles and Dan Smith. Ex-Officio Members present were <br />Jim Kays, Frank Wright, Ray Ball, and Bob Campbell. Members absent were John Kruntorad, <br />Rick McDougall (resigned), and Michael Moffitt. Ex-Officio Members absent were Bryon <br />Billman and Renee Harvey. Alternate Member absent was Joan Mathis. <br />Also, present were city staff Shawn Napier, City Engineer; Doug Harris, Utilities Director; <br />Shannon Barrantine, Chamber of Commerce; Ken Choffel and Cory Shockley, HDR; David <br />Nabors; John McFadden and Charles Richards, Paris News. <br />3. Approval of minutes from previous meeting. (November 13, 2008) <br />A Motion to approve the minutes was made by Sharron Nabors and seconded by Richard <br />Quarles. Motion carried unanimously. <br />4. Citizens forum. <br />No one spoke. <br />5. Presentation from HDR Engineering. <br />HDR presentation (see Power Point Presentation in Section 18 of the Lake Pat Mayse <br />Study Committee Briefing Book). Draft report from HDR by January 22, 2009, HDR and <br />Jim Matthews will meet to discuss information. <br />6. Discussion and possible action on the power point presentation to the public. <br />Power point due by January 08, 2009. <br />n 0U0U0S <br />
