Wright, Director of <br />Council Date: <br />Development <br />Community Development <br />13. <br />O l /26/2009 <br />RECOMMENDED MOTION: <br />Move to approve a resolution designating the authorized signatories for drawdown requests from the <br />Office of Rural Community Affairs for all of the City's Texas Community Development Program <br />Proj ects. <br />PoLicY IssvE(s): <br />Grant <br />BACKGROUND: <br />On August 27, 2007, the City Council approved the application for and acceptance of a grant from the <br />Texas Department of Economic Development Main Street Program for sidewalk and other <br />improvements in the Downtown area. On May 21, 2008, the City of Paris was awarded a grant in the <br />amount of $150,000.00, with the City of Paris pledging $65,000.00 in cash and in-kind services.
