RESOLUTION NO. 2009-007 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS, TEXAS; DESIGNATING THE AUTHORIZED SIGNATORIES FOR DRAWDOWN REQUESTS FROM THE OFFICE OF RURAL COMMUNITY AFFAIRS FOR ALL OF THE CITY OF PARIS' TEXAS COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM PROJECTS; MAKING OTHER FINDINGS AND PROVISIONS RELATED TO THE SUBJECT; AND DECLARING A1V EFFECTIVE DATE. WHEREAS, on August 27, 2007, the City Council approved the application for and acceptance of a grant from the Texas Department of Economic Development Main Street Program for sidewalk and other improvements in the Downtown area; and, WHEREAS, on May 21, 2008, the City of Paris was awarded a grant in the amount of $150,000.00, with the city of Paris pledging $65,000.00 in cash and in-kind services; and, WHEREAS, as part of the special conditions under the grant, and as a pre-requisite for having funds released for the project, it is necessary that the City designate the authorized signatories for drawdown requests under this grant, and the same should hereby be approved. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS, TEXAS, THAT: Section 1. The findings set out in the preamble to this resolution are hereby in all things approved. Section 2. The following individuals are hereby authorized to sign the following documents for all Texas Community Development projects: State of Texas Purchase Vouchers: KEVIN CARRUTH CITY MANAGER Title W. E.
