Proclamation declaring the month of February as Scouting Anniversary Month. <br />Mayor Freelen read the proclamation and presented it to the assembled Boy Scouts and Scout <br />Leaders. <br />Consent Agenda <br />Subject to the minutes of January 12, 2009, being corrected to reflect that an existing business <br />that was expanding by more than 50 percent would be required to pave its parking lot in order to <br />obtain a building permit, Council Member McCarthy made a Motion to approve the Consent Agenda <br />and Council Member Kear seconded the Motion. The Council voted seven (7) for and none (0) <br />opposed to approve and adopt Consent Agenda ltems 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, and 11. <br />6. Deliberate and act on the approval of minutes from the meetings on January 12, 2009 and <br />January 26, 2009. <br />7. Receive and deliberate on reports and/or minutes from the following boards, cominissions, <br />and cornmittees: <br />a. Main Street Advisory Board (8-5-08; 9-16-08; 11-11-08; 12-16-08) <br />b. Paris Public Library Advisory Board (12-17-08) <br />8. Deliberate on drainage ditch maintenance report. <br />Mayor Freelen commended Shawn Napier for the work completed on drainage ditch <br />maintenance. <br />9. Deliberate an Casa Bonita demolition project. <br />10. Deliberate on One Oak apartment complex. <br />Kevin Carruth told Council that Brady Environmental was developing specs for the bids and <br />once received, staff could advertise for bids. <br />11.
