<br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> SPECIFICATIONS <br /> PASTURE LEASE <br /> <br /> The amount bid will be a lump sum per year paid to the City of Paris. The area of the pasture <br /> lease is depicted on Exhibit A attached hereto and incorporated herein for all purposes. <br /> <br /> <br /> The area shaded in yellow on the attached Exhibit A is the land available in the pasture <br /> <br /> lease. The approximate acreage of the pasture area is 165 acres, more or less. Bidder <br /> should verify the adequacy of the size of the property and its suitability of use for Bidder's <br /> purposes. No warranty of any kind, express or implied, as to suitability of purpose or <br /> use, or otherwise, is made with regard to these specifications or the property and its use.. <br /> <br /> ➢ The fences and gates on the pasture area are owned by the City of Paris. <br /> <br /> ➢ Fence and gate and cattle guard maintenance shall be the responsibility of the <br /> Lessee. <br /> <br /> ➢ The pasture area shall be shredded a minimum of one time annually. <br /> <br /> ➢ Lessee agrees to practice good land management practices in regard to the leased <br /> premises. <br /> <br /> ➢ Lessee shall be solely responsible for the livestock placed on the pasture lease and <br /> Lessee agrees to release, hold harmless and indemnify the City of Paris, its elected <br /> officials, officers and employees from any claims, demands, damage, injury, or loss <br /> related to Lessee's operation and use of the pasture land. <br /> <br /> ➢ The length of the contract for the pasture lease shall be a period of five years with <br /> a five year option. <br />
