Approve the minutes as submitted in the mail of the Ark-Tex Council of Governments Board <br /> Meeting held Thursday, December 11, 2008, in Roxton, Texas. <br /> Review and Comment <br /> <br /> Item 4. Review and Comment on a grant application to the U.S. Department of Agriculture/Rural <br /> Development, from Nash Industrial Development Corporation, in the amount of $200,000, for <br /> a Rural Business Enterprise Grant to continue and grow a revolving loan fund for small or <br /> emerging businesses in the Nash area. (to be presented by staff member Genevieve Burtchell) <br /> <br /> Item 5. Review and Comment on a grant application to the U.S. Department of Agriculture/Rural <br /> Development, from Redwater Industrial Development Corporation, in the amount of <br /> $100,000, to be matched with $10,000, for a total of $110,000, for a revolving loan fund to <br /> establish new businesses in the City of Redwater. (to be presented by staff member <br /> Genevieve Burtchell) <br /> <br /> Item 6. Review and Comment on a grant application to the U.S. Department of Agriculture/Rural <br /> Development, from the City of Daingerfield, in the amount of $250,000, for a Rural Business <br /> Enterprise Grant to establish a revolving loan fund for retention of existing businesses and to <br /> attract new economic development activities in the City. Review and Comment on a grant application to the U.S. Department of Agriculture/Rural <br /> Development, from the City of Maud, in the amount of $250,000, for a Rural Business <br /> Enterprise Grant to establish a revolving loan fund for retention of existing businesses and to <br /> attract new economic development activities in the City.
