MINUTES <br />WORK SESSION <br />LAKE PAT MAYSE STUDY COMMITTEE <br />107 E. KAUFMAN STREET <br />PARIS, TEXAS <br />TI3URSDAY, FEBRUARY 19, 2009 <br />Call the meeting to order. <br />Chairman Hayter called the meeting to order at 4:10 p.m. <br />2. Committee member roll call. <br />City Engineer Shawn Napier called roll. <br />Members present were Herb Campbell, Dennis Chalaire, Reeves Hayter, Gene McWaters, <br />Jim Noble, and Dan Smith. Ex-Officio Members present were Jim Kays, Ray Ball and Bob <br />Campbell. Members absent were John Kruntorad, Sharron Nabors and Michael Moffitt. <br />Ex-Officio Members absent were Bryon Billman, Renee Harvey, and Frank Wright. Alternate <br />Member absent was Joan Mathis. <br />Also, present were city staff Shawn Napier, City Engineer; Doug Harris, Utilities Director; <br />John McFadden; Pike Burkhart; Pete Kampfer; Todd Reck, City of Irving; Corey Shockley, HDR; <br />Randall Dobbs, Nathan D. Maier; Kay O'Dell, Workforce Solutions and Charles Richards, Paris <br />News. <br />No quorum, five voting members present. <br />4. Citizens forum. <br />No one spoke. <br />Question and answer session with Texas Parks and Wildlife Representative. <br />Questions submitted to the Texas Parks and Wildlife Deparhnent. <br />6. Review and discuss PEDC future water demand projections. <br />Dan Smith asked about 2060 water demand. Why did water demands double when <br />population projection did not double for the year 2060? Corey Shockley explained that <br />those projections are based on Texas Water Development Board numbers of peak day <br />water usage per person. Answer to question will be clarified in HDR final report. <br />Gene McWaters arrived at 4:19 p.m. Meeting was officially called to order with a <br />quorum. <br />-9 00U01.S <br />
