MINUTES <br />WORK SESSION <br />LAKE PAT MAYSE STUDY COMMITTEE <br />107 E. KAUFMAN STREET <br />PARIS, TEXAS <br />THURSDAY, APRIL 2, 2009 <br />Call the meeting to order. <br />Chairman Hayter called the meeting to order at 4:02 p.m. <br />2. Committee member roll call. <br />City Engineer Shawn Napier called roll. <br />Members present were Herb Campbell, Dennis Chalaire, Reeves Hayter, John Kruntorad, <br />Gene McWaters, Sharron Nabors, Jim Noble, Richard Quarles and Dan Smith. Ex-Officio <br />Members present were Jim Kays, Frank Wright and Bob Campbell. Member absent was Michael <br />Moffitt. Ex-Officio Members absent were Bryon Billman, Renee Harvey and Ray Ball. Alternate <br />Member absent was Joan Mathis. <br />Also, present were city staff Shawn Napier, City Engineer; Doug Harris, Utilities Director; <br />John McFadden; David Nabors; Pete Kampfer; PEDC, and Charles Richards, Paris News. <br />Quontm announced. <br />Approval of minutes from previous meeting. (March 19, 2009) <br />Motion was made by Gene McWaters, seconded by Jim Noble to approve the minutes for <br />the March 19, 2009 meeting. Motion carried unanimously. <br />4. Citizens forum. <br />No one spoke. <br />Discussion and possible action on drafting a recommendation to City Council. <br />Recommendation to the City Council, Shawn Napier presented information on the three <br />year average, volumes for the City of Paris, contract users and non-contract industrial <br />users. Discussion continued on determining appropriate figures for future uses in 2010, <br />2030 and 2060. Future year averages were adjusted to reflect 2020, 2040 and 2060. Will <br />attempt to obtain peak day data for LCWSD, Campbell Soup, Lamar Power Partners and <br />Direct Energy. Contact HDR about information regarding putting in place a set lake level <br />for determining how much water might be available to sell. <br />- UU0u1i <br />
