uses including, but not limited to, sky boxes, <br />restaurants and similarly enclosed areas. <br />Section 907.4, Manual fire alarm boxes, shall be amended to add a <br />second paragraph to read as follows: <br />Manual alarm actuating devices shall be an approved <br />double action type. <br />Section 907.6.1, Installation, shall be added to read as follows: <br />All fire alarm systems shall be installed in such a manner <br />that the failure of any single initiating device or single open in <br />an initiating circuit conductor will not interfere with the normal <br />operation of any other such devices. All initiating circuit <br />conductors shall be Class "A" wired with a minimum of six feet <br />separation between supply and return circuit conductors. IDC - <br />Class "A" style - D; SLC Class "A" Sryle 6; NAC Class "B" Style Y. <br />The IDC from an addressable device used to monitor the status <br />of a suppression system may be wired Class B, Sryle B, provided <br />the distance from the addressable device is within 10 feet of the <br />suppression system device. <br />Section 907.9.2, High-rise buildings, shall be amended, in part, to read as <br />follows: <br />In buildings that have any floor used for human occupancy <br />that is located more than 55 feet (16 764 mm) above the lowest <br />level . . . {remainder of section unchanged}. <br />Section 90710.3, Water flow Notification, shall be added to read as <br />follows: <br />When required by Section 903.4.2, an exterior audible and <br />visible notification device shall be provided on the exterior of <br />the building and shall be located above the Fire Department <br />Connection. The notification device shall operate on a water- <br />flow alarm only, shall be non-silenceable and shall continue to <br />flash after the panel is silenced on the condition the alarm was a <br />water-flow alarm only. The notification device shall be wired <br />from the fire alarm control panel as a latching circuit <br />27 <br />
