In the past Council has followed a pattern
of appointing one or two citizens from each council district. Given the technical nature of codes,
Council may also want to consider making certain segments of the community are represented in the list
of appointees with backgrounds that could contribute specific experience, e.g. representatives from
insurance, builders/contractors, industry, commercial/retail, residential, and historic district. Because of
the level of detail involved and assuming we would follow the recent examples of the Code Enforcement
Task Force and Lake Pat Mayse Study Committee, this review process can be expected to last several
months.
BOARD/COMMISSION RECOMMENDATION:
r-XHIBITS:
ACTION:
BUDGET INFO:
❑ Financial Report ❑ Minute Order
❑ D
Expense
$
epartment Report ❑ Resolution
0 Presentation ❑ O
di
Budgeted Amt.
$
r
nance
❑ Public Hearin
E] Other
yT'D Actual
$
g
Acct.
