SECTION 25. COMPLIANCE WITH FEDERAL, STATE. AND LOCAL LANN' <br />Administrator shall coniply with all federal, state and local laws, statutes, ordinances, rules, <br />regulations, orders and decrees of any court or administrative body or tribunal related to the <br />activities and performances of Administrator Lmder tlzis contract. Upon request by Department, <br />Administrator shall fiirnish satisfactory proof of its compliance therewith. <br />SECTION 26. CERTIFICATION REGARDING CERTAIN DISASTER RELIEF <br />CONTRACTS <br />The Department may not award a contract that includes proposed financial participation by a <br />person who, during the five-year period preceding the date of this Contract, has been convicted <br />of violating a federal law in connection with a contract awarded by the federal government for <br />relief, recovery, or reconstruction efforts as a result of Hurricane Rita, as defined by Section <br />39.459, Utilities Code, Hurricane Katrina, or any other disaster occurring after September 24, <br />2005; or assessed a penalty in a federal civil or administrative enforcement action in connection <br />with a contract awarded by the federal government for relief, recovery, or reconstruction efforts <br />as a result of Hurricane Rita, as defined by Section 39.459, Utilities Code, Humcane Katrina, or <br />any other disaster occumng after September 24, 2005. By executing this Contract, the <br />Administrator hereby certifies that: <br />"Under Section 2261.053, Government Code, Administrator certifies that the individual or <br />business entity named in this Contract is not ineligible to receive the specified contract and <br />acknowledges that this contract may be terminated and payment withheld if this certification is <br />inaccurate." <br />ATTACHMENT A <br />HOME Contract #1001053 <br />Page 16 of 21 <br />
