BACKGROUND: During budget hearings, City Council gave direction to the City Manager to continue the professional services agreement with the following agencies for the listed amounts: Agency Amount American Red Cross $10,000 CASA for Kids 10,000 Children's Advocacy Center 12,500 ETCADA 4,500 Keep Paris Beauriful/Make Lamar County Shine 5,000 Lamar County Coalirion for Educarion, Business, and Industry 3,500 Lamar County Historical Society 5,000 Lamar County Human Resource Council 12,000 Models of the Maker 10,000 SAFE-T 10,000 Total $82,500 On September 21, 2009, City Council approved the budget for 2009-2010, which included funds for these professional services.
