(d) Stage 3 Triggers - Severe Water Shortage Conditions <br />(1) Requirements for initiation - Retail water customers shall be <br />required to comply with the requirements and restrictions on <br />certain non-essential water uses provided in Section 34-156 of this <br />Article for Stage 3 when any one of the following triggering events <br />exists: <br />a. When the water supply available to the City of Paris is equal to <br />or less than fifty percent (50%) of the Conservation pool in Pat <br />Mayse Lake and Lake Crook combined; or <br />b. When total daily water demand equals or exceeds thirty-four <br />(34) million gallons for twenty-one consecutive days or thirty- <br />six (36) million gallons for nine (9) consecutive days; or <br />c. Continually falling treated water reservoir levels which do not <br />refill above fifty percent (50%) overnight. <br />(2) Requirements for termination - Stage 3 of the Plan may be rescinded <br />when all of the conditions listed as triggering events have ceased to <br />exist. Upon termination of Stage 3, Stage 2 becomes operative. <br />(e) Stage 4 Triggers - Critical Water Shortage Conditions <br />(1) Requirements for initiation - Retail water customers shall be <br />required to comply with the requirements and restrictions on <br />certain non-essential water uses provided in Section 34-156 of this <br />Article for Stage 4 when any one of the following triggering events <br />exists: <br />a. When the water supply available to the City of Paris is equal to <br />or less than forty percent (40%) of the Conservation pool in <br />Pat Mayse Lake and Lake Crook combined; or <br />b. When total daily water demand equals or exceeds thirty-five <br />(35) million gallons for twenty-one (21) consecutive days or <br />exceeds thirty-six (36) million gallons for nine (9) consecutive <br />days; or <br />c. Continually falling treated water reservoir levels which do not <br />refill above forty percent (40%) overnight. <br />(2) Requirements for termination - Stage 4 of the Plan may be rescinded <br />when all of the conditions listed as triggering events have ceased to <br />exist. Upon termination of Stage 4, Stage 3 becomes operative. <br />(o Stage 5 Triggers - Emergency Water Shortage Conditions <br />
