Customers that do not have recorded water usage far <br />each of the winter average months will have thetr winter average calculated <br />based an the residennal class average of 625 cubic feet <br />Monthly commercial and lndustrial customers' wastewater volurne shall <br />be based upon one hundred (100) percent of the actual metered potable <br />water consumption, except those custamers whose wastewater is metered, <br />and their volume shall be 6ased upon one hundred (100) percent of the <br />metered wastewater. The former shall be billed for one hundred (100) <br />percent of the metered potable water and the latter shall be billed far one <br />hundred (I00) percent of the metered wastswater. <br />(c) Users desiring to discharge sewage into the Ciry's sewerage system, the <br />str2ngth of which sewag: exceeds twv hundred fifty (250) parts per million <br />biochemical oxygen demand (B4D), two hundred fifty (250) parts ger millian <br />of tatal suspended solids, (TSS), ar thirty (30) parts per rnillion of ammonia <br />(NNa), and which is acceptable under article II1 of this chapter, may do so <br />upon 4vritten permission of the city and by paying a rnanthly treatment <br />charge in tihe arncunt of ninety-four cents ($0,94) per pound of biochemical <br />oxygen demand (BOD) in excess of the allowable biochemical oxygen <br />demand (BOD); forty-three cents ($0.43) per pound of total suspended salids <br />('I`SS) in excess of the allowable total suspended solids (TSS); and fifty-trvo <br />cents. ($0.52) per pound of ammonia {NH3 } in excess of the allowable <br />ammonia strength. The ciry shall make tiie netessary tests of the usec's <br />sewage strength to determine this charge.
