MINUTES <br />REGULAR MEETING <br />CITY OF PARIS HISTORIC PRESERVATION COMMISSION <br />MONDAY, OCTOBER 26, 2009 <br />4:00 0'CLOCK P.M. <br />1. The Historic Preservation Commission meeting was called to order by Arvin Starrett, <br />Chairman. <br />A. The following members were present: <br />Arvin Starrett, Chainnan <br />Paul Denney, Vice-Chairman <br />Douglas Cox <br />Ben Vaughan <br />Jerry Raper <br />B. The following members were absent: <br />Matt Coyle <br />Susan Scholz, Secretary <br />C. Also present was Shawn Napier, Historic Preservation Officer. <br />2. Approval of minutes ftom pi-evious meetings. (October 14, 2009) <br />Motion was made by Ben Vaughan, seconded by Jerry Raper to approve the minutes for <br />the October 14, 2009 meeting. Motion carried 5-0. <br />3. Cofzsideration of'and action on the folloiving Certificates ofAppropi-iateness: <br />A. 101 Grand Avenue - Da>>id Ford - Mr. Ford presented the petition. Motion was <br />made by Douglas Cox, seconded by Jerry Raper to approve the COA. Motion <br />carried 5-0. <br />B. 32 Clarh-sville Street - Scott's Custom Signs - Alex with Scott's Custom Signs <br />presented the petition. Motion was made by Paul Deriney, seconded by Jerry <br />Raper to approve the COA. Motion carried 5-0. <br />C. 112 Clarksville Street - Scott's Custoni Signs - Alex with Scott's Custom Signs <br />presented the petition. Motion was made by Ben Vaughan, seconded by Paul <br />Denney to approve the COA. Motion carried 5-0. <br />D. 36 Clarksville Street - Scott's Custom Signs - Alex with Scott's Custom Signs <br />presented the petition. Motion was made by Jerry Raper, seconded by Douglas <br />Cox to approve the COA. Motion carried 5-0. <br />
