POLICY ISSUE(S): Plat Approval BACKGROUND: This is the preliminar and fnal plats for Lot 1, Block A, Southwest LTC Addition 313, located in the 100 Block of SE 47 Street. The owner is proposing to build a nursing home. Staff recommends approval of the preliminary and final plats, subject to corrections needed in the attached memos. A Subdivision Improvement Agreement has been submitted for the infrastructure that will be dedicated to the City of Paris. Note that the owner's representative stated during the City Council public hearing on the zoning change that the trees on the east side of the facility would be left to screen the facility from the neighbors in the Eastgate subdivision and that the plans submitted now show the area being used for a storm water detention pond. BOARD/COMMISSION RECOMMENDATION: The Commission recommended approval of the preliminary and final plats, subject to City Engineer's recommendation by a vote of 6-0 on the plat.
