SALE OF CITY PERSONAL PROPERTY The City Manager is authorized to sell to the highest bidder any personal property belonging to the City that has the value of$1,000 or less and has been determined by the City Manager to be surplus. When possible, the opportunity shall be given for open competition by taking at least two informal bids on said property from businesses or individuals expressing an interest in the surplus property with the property being awarded to the highest bidder.
