2) Emergency tasks to be performed include: <br />a) Identify areas where evacuation has been or may in the future and determine <br />of population at risk. <br />b) Perform evacuation planning for known risk areas to include route selection <br />and determination of traffic control requirements. <br />c) Develop simplified planning procedures for ad hoc evacuations. <br />d) Determine emergency public information requirements. <br />e) Perform evacuation planning for special needs facilities (schools, hospitals, <br />nursing homes, and other institutions. <br />f. Firefighting. <br />1) Primary responsibility for this function is assigned to the Paris Fire Department, <br />who will prepare and maintain Annex F(Firefighting) to this plan and supporting <br />SOPs. <br />2) Emergency tasks to be performed include: <br />a) Fire prevention activities. <br />b) Fire detection and control. <br />c) Hazardous material and oil spill response. <br />d) Terrorist incident response. <br />e) Evacuation support. <br />fl Post-incident reconnaissance and damage assessment. <br />g) Fire safety inspection of temporary shelters. <br />h) Prepare and maintain fire resource inventory. <br />g. Law Enforcement. <br />1) Primary responsibility for this function is assigned to the Paris Police Department, <br />who will prepare and maintain Annex G(Law Enforcement) to this plan and <br />supporting SOPs. <br />2) Emergency tasks to be performed include: <br />a) Maintenance of law and order. <br />b) Traffic control. <br />c) Terrorist incident response. <br />d) Provision of security for vital facilities, evacuated areas, and shelters. <br />e) Access control for damaged or contaminated areas. <br />fi) Warning support. <br />g) Post-incident reconnaissance and damage assessment. <br />h) Prepare and maintain law enforcement resource inventory. <br />Ver 2.0 BP-17 <br />05/05 <br />
