Dan Smith made a motion that the board <br />approve the 5,190 acre feet/year figure with the caveat included in the paper. There was <br />no second to this motion, so the motion died. <br />The board agreed that a decision needed to be made, rather than tabling <br />the issue but did not feel that another study was the way to proceed. Chad Brown made a <br />motion that the figure proposed for Campbell Soup in the HDR report (3,150 acre <br />feedyeaz) be added to the figure proposed for future manufacturing needs (5,190 acre <br />feet/year) for a total of 8,340 acre feedyear proposed to be needed for future <br />manufacturing needs. 1'he Board's agreement to the above quantity is contingent upon <br />the allocation of additional quantities of water, to support future Economic Development <br />Projects (industry), if additional Project water is required during the term of the water <br />agreement with Irving. <br />Glen Bawcum seconded this motion.
