BID SPECIFICATIONS Portland Cement Concrete Requirements: It is estimated that 2,000 total cubic yards of Portland Cement Conerete will be required in the operation of the various divisions of Public Works during the period of March 1, 2010 through March l, 2011. A minimum is not guaranteed. Specifications: Portland Cement Concrete must conform to Item 421, 2004 edition of "Texas Department of Transportation Standard Specifications for Construction and Maintenance ofHighways, Streets and Bridges State Department of Highways and Public Transportation Specifications" or later edition. All materials must be from an approved TXDOT material source, Bidder must provide documentation that material has been tested and meets TXDOT specifications. The Portland Cement Concrete Plant and related equipment shall be of an approved type and size that will provide uniform distribution of material throughout the mass, and shall be capable of producing concrete mix meetin~ the requirements of these specifications. Routine deliveries will be made during the hours of 8:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M., Monday through Friday; special deliveries will be scheduled in advance by the Public Works Department in order to meet work requirements.
