Congress Avenue
Austin, Texas 78701
Re: $1,385,000 Lamar County Water Supply District
Water Revenue Bonds, Series 2009
Dear Mr. Ward:
This letter is to advise you that the City's Wholesale Treated Water Contract with Lamar County
Water Supply District, dated May 8, 2006, contains in Article V an initial term of 20 years which
expires on May 8, 2026, and contains four 5-year renewals with the consent of the parties to the
Water Contract for extensions. This letter serves to advise the Texas Water Development Board
that the City will not oppose the renewal of the Wholesale Treated Water Contract and its
extensions for as long as District remains in compliance with the terms of the Contract and the
District's Water Revenue Bonds, Series 2009, referenced above, remain outstanding.
We appreciate very much the Texas Water Development Board's financing the District's bonds
at such a favorable term.
If you need any other information from the City please feel free to contact us.
CITY OF PARIS, TEXAS
Jesse James Freelen, Mayor
P.O.
