17. Contract Security <br />The Gontract Docuinents set forth OWNER'S reguirements as to perfonnance and <br />pa}nnent Bonds. When the Successful Bidder delivers the executed Agreement to <br />OWNER, it must be accompanied by the i°equired perfoirnance and payment Bonds. <br />18. Si ng,_in g of Agreement <br />When OWNER gives a Notice of Award to the Successful Bidder, it will be accompanied <br />by the required number of unsigned counterparts of the Agreement with all other written <br />Contract Documents attached. Within fifteen (15) days thereafter, CONTRACTOR shall <br />sign and deliver the required number af counte7parts of the Agreement and attached <br />c1ocuments to OWNER with the required Bonds. Within thirty (30) days thereafter, <br />OWNER shall deliver one (1) fully signed counterpart to CONTRACTOR. <br />19. Prebid Conference <br />No prebid conference will be held. <br />20. Power of Attorney - Bonds <br />Attorneys-in-fact who sign Bid Bonds, Perfoi-inance Bonds, or Payment Bonds, must file <br />with each bond, a certified and effective dated copy of their power-of-attorney. <br />21. Retainage <br />From each partial payment made to the CONTRAGTOR, an amount equal to ten (10) <br />pez•cent will be retained until after the completion of the Work to the Satisfaction of the <br />ENGINEER. <br />22. Venue <br />lf any legal action is filed upon the bid, perfonnance or payment bonds, or upon the <br />Contract itself, venue shall lie u7 the County in whicll the project site is loeated. <br />8 <br />
