Two bids were <br />received, with the lowest being that of R.K. Hall Construction Co., LTD in the base bid amount of <br />$1,484,412.40, additive alternate of $272,829.00, and deductive alternate of $291,501.00. A bid <br />tabulation is attached for your review. <br />We have verified the mathematical accuracy and completeness of both bids, and have verified that <br />the bonding company is licensed in Texas. The low bid appeazs to conform to the contract document <br />requirements. Based upon the Statement of Bidder's Qualifications, we believe the low bidder to be <br />responsive and responsible. <br />We therefore recommend award of this project to R.K. Hall Construction Co., LTD in the base bid <br />amount of $1,484,412.40,plus additive alternate of $272,829.00, and less deductive alternate of <br />$291,501.00, for a total award of $1,465,740.40. If the City concurs with this recommendation, <br />please sign the attached three original Notice of Award forms.
