2010-073 RES APPOINTMENT OF BOARD MEMBERS

Section 1. That the findings set out in the preamble to this resolution are hereby in all things approved. Section 2. That the following appointment is hereby made to the Airport Advisory Board: Fred Williams to serve three-year terms from July 1, 2010 to June 30, 2013, leaving one position still open. Section 3. That the following appointment is hereby made to the Band Commission: Bonnie Ausburn as a regular member to serve three -year terms from July 1, 2010 to June 30, 2013, leaving one (at large) position still open. Section 4. That the following appointment is hereby made to the Building and Standards Commission: Ryan Lassiter as a regular member to serve three-year terms from July 1, 2010 to June 30, 2013, leaving one position still open. Section 5. That the following appointments are hereby made to the Historic Preservation Commission: Matthew Coyle (Main Street) and Paul K. Denney (Architect) as regular members to serve three-year terms from July 1, 2010 to June 30, 2013. Section 6. That the following appointments are hereby made to the Library Advisory Board: Deborah Hatley and Hilda Mallory as regular members to serve three-year terms from July 1, 2010 to June 30, 2013. Section 7. That the following appointments are hereby made to the Main Street Advisory Board: Britin Bostick and Matthew Coyle (HPC) regular members to serve three-year terms from July 1, 2010 to June 30, 2013; and James Brockway to fill the unexpired term of Clifton Fendley to serve until June 30, 2011. Section 8. That the following appointment is hereby made to the Paris Economic Development Corporation Board: Douglas Wehrman as a regular member to serve a three-year term from July 1, 2010 to April 30, 2013. Section 9. That the following appointments are hereby made to the Planning & Zoning Commission: James Price and Richard Hunt as regular members to serve three-year terms from July 1, 2010 to June 30, 2013; and Dennis Chalaire to fill the unexpired term of Bee Garmon to serve until June 30, 2012. Section 10. That the following appointments are hereby made to the Traffic Commission: Jon McFadden, Barry Shiver and Rexi Stamper as regular members to serve three-year terms from July 1, 2010 to June 30, 2013. Section 11. That this resolution shall be effective from and after its date of passage.
