DRAFT <br />attorney\reswork\current\Appointrnents to Airport Advisory Bd, Band & Bidg & Standards 2010 <br />RESOLUTION NO. <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS, TEXAS, <br />APPOINTING MEMBERS TO THE AIRPORT ADVISORY BOARD, THE BAND <br />COMMISSION AND THE BUILDING AND STANDARDS COMMISSION; <br />MAKING OTHER FINDINGS AND PROVISIONS RELATED TO THE <br />SUBJECT; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. <br />WHEREAS, the term of office of Glen Chapman as a member of the Airport <br />Advisory Board of the City of Paris expired Apri130, 2010; and, <br />WHEREAS, Jerry Coyle has been nominated to serve as a member of the Airport <br />Advisory Board for a term of three (3) years, beginning July 1, 2010 and ending June 30, <br />2013; and, <br />WHEREAS, the terms of office of Becky Semple (V&CC member) and Stephen L. <br />Gerrald (at large) as members of the Band Commission expired Apri130, 2010; and, <br />WHEREAS, Becky Semple (V&CC member) and Rhonda Morris (at large) have <br />been nominated to serve as members to the Band Commission for terms of three (3) <br />years, beginning July 1, 2010 and ending June 30, 2013. <br />WHEREAS, the term of office of Zach Saffle as a member of the Building and <br />Standards Commission expired Apri130, 2010; and, <br />WHEREAS, Johnny 1Vorris has been nominated to serve as a member of the <br />Building and Standards Commission for a term of three (3) years, beginning July 1, 2010 <br />and ending June 30, 2013. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />PARIS, TEXAS: <br />Section 1. That the findings set out in the preamble to this resolution are hereby <br />in all things approved. <br />Section 2. That the following appointment is hereby made to the Airport <br />Advisory Board: Jerry Coyle to serve a three-year term from July 1, 2010 to June 30, <br />2013. <br />Section 3. That the following appointments are hereby made to the Band <br />Commission: Becky Semple (V&CC member) and Rhonda Morris (at large) as <br />members to serve three -year terms from July 1, 2010 to June 30, 2013. <br />6 7 <br />
