2010-080 RES APPOINTING MEMBERS TO THE AIRPORT ADVISORY BOARD, THE BAND COMMISSION AND THE BUILDING AND STANDARDS COMMISSION

RESOLUTION NO. 2010-080 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS, TEXAS, APPOINTIIVG MEMBERS TO THE AIRPORT ADVISORY BOARD, THE BAND COMMISSION AND THE BUILDING AND STANDARDS COMMISSION; MAKING OTHER FINDINGS AND PROVISIONS RELATED TO THE SUBJECT; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. WHEREAS, the term of office of Glen Chapman as a member of the Airport Advisory Board of the City of Paris expired Apri130, 2010; and, WHEREAS, jerry Coyle has been nominated to serve as a member of the Airport Advisory Board for a term of three (3) years, beginning July 1, 2010 and ending June 30, 2013; and, WHEREAS, the terms of office of Becky Semple (V&CC member) and Stephen L. Gerrald (at large) as members of the Band Commission expired Apri130, 2010; and, WHEREAS, Becky Semple (V&CC member) and Rhonda Morris (at large) have been nominated to serve as members to the Band Commission for terms of three (3) years, beginning July 1, 2010 and ending June 30, 2013. WHEREAS, the term of office of Zach Saffle as a member of the Building and Standards Commission expired Apri130, 2010; and, WHEREAS, Johnny Norris has been nominated to serve as a member of the Building and Standards Commission for a term of three (3) years, beginning July 1, 2010 and ending June 30, 2013. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PARIS, TEXAS: Section 1. That the findings set out in the preamble to this resolution are hereby in all things approved. Section 2. That the following appointment is hereby made to the Airport Advisory Board: Jerry Coyle to serve a three-year term from July 1, 2010 to June 30, 2013. Section 3. That the following appointments are hereby made to the Band Commission: Becky Semple (V&CC member) and Rhonda Morris (at large) as members to serve three -year terms from July 1, 2010 to June 30, 2013. Section 4. That the following appointment is hereby made to the Building and Standards Commission: Johnny 1Vorris to serve a three year term from July 1, 2010 to June 30, 2013.
