Motion carried. <br />Discussion and possible action r•egarding the Job Retention Training Agreernent beneftting 1'urner <br />Indtistries. Kent Mcllyar stated that he had f nalized the agreetnent, but needed a ciate as to when the <br />Warkforce grant fiuicling cauld be reinstated. Discussion toak place amongst ihose present as to whether <br />tlie eYpended PEDC funds would affect the WorkCorce tiincis, anci whether thc amount provided by Paris <br />Junior College was for services rendered to datc. Mation was nlade by Chad 13row1i to trible the <br />agreez7zent; seconded by Rick l'astuis. Motion carried. <br />Discusszon and possible action rzgarding a lease agreement with Lindi7iark Outdoor Advertising. <br />Steve tald those present that after liimself and Rachel haci a conference call with the billhaard conipany, <br />the lease that had Ueen received did nat reflect amendmentstchanges discussed. Motion was made by Dan <br />Smith to table the agreenlent; seconded by Rick Poston. Motion can-ied. <br />Discussion and possible action regarciing autharizing staff to deveiap and issue a reqxiest for <br />proposals (RFPs) for a eomprehenszve review of the City of Pat•is' Builcling Plaxis Review, Permits, <br />Licensing and Inspeetion Services, Code F.nforcernent, Historic Pi•eservation aiici Plazining and Zoning <br />Commission, to inclutle a review of existing ordinances, policies, procedGires, pracesses, tees, staffing, etc. <br />Discussion taok place rcgarding the study pe;rformed at the Gity of MeKznney by 7ucker Systems.
