Box 9037 <br />Paris, Texas 75461 <br />D <br />~ u'4 r~L..:. ~.;t0 'r~4 <br />Dear Mayor Freelen: <br />% <br />,l;~; Paris Living-A Community Development Corporation ("Paris LivinQ" or the "Corporation") is <br />;e°: M:w~~km pleased to be selected by the City of Paris (the "City_") to administer the City's Homebuyer <br />'GA `"WI ` Assistance Program funded by the Texas Department of Housin~ and Comrnunity Affairs <br />("TDHCA") in the amount of $208,000, including administrative cost allowance. As outlined <br />_U in our proposal, Paris Livin- will administer the above referenced program on behalf of the City <br />in exchanQe for a fee equal to 4% of the total project costs, which is the administrative fee <br />aiiowed by TDHCA, plus other project related soft costs allowable by TDHCA throuQh the <br />HOME Program. For your convenience, I have listed soine terms and conditions below and, if <br />you concur, this letter will serve as our official Agreement (the "Agreement"). <br />1. The City hereby engages Paris Living to provide, in general, the following: <br />(a) perform the overall administration of the Program at the direction of the City and in <br />accordance with the approved program desigm as submitted in the grant application; <br />(b) if requested, develop and 'unpleinent a marketing effort for the Prograin including <br />wnting news releases, meeting with Realtors at the request of t11e participating lenders, <br />creating public service aimouncements for local Radio and Television; <br />(c) develop and disseminate irifonnation packets to; and train, participating lenders and <br />Realtors; <br />(d) work with each participating lender to process each boirower throuLh to closing; <br />(e) prepare or have prepared all fonns for set-up and ciraw of funds as well as closeout <br />fonzis on belialf of the City; <br />( fl review aild make reconunendations desi-m7ed to improve the Pro gram; <br />EXHIBIT .Q_ <br />
