She said that the tennination of Kevin Carruth would set them back, so she encouraged <br /> Council to retain Mr. Carruth as City Manager. She said they needed to work together as a group <br /> to move forward with one vision. <br /> <br /> Dr. Geoffrey Grubb - he said that Dr. Amanda Green's letter was a summation of his <br /> feelings. He spoke in support of retaining Kevin Carruth as City Manager and expressed concern <br /> about the cost of replacing him. <br /> <br /> Roger Patel, 3755 N.E. Loop 286 - he urged the City Council to wait until the full <br /> Council was present to consider the item regarding the City Manager. He said there were a lot of <br /> people at the meeting waiting to see if the right thing happens. Mr. Patel spoke in support of <br /> retaining Kevin Carruth as City Manager. <br /> <br /> Tim Bullock, 4025 Dawn - he urged Council not to make any decisions regarding the <br /> City Manager, without all Council Members present. Mr. Bullock spoke in support of retaining <br /> Kevin Carruth as City Manager. <br /> <br /> Consent Agenda <br /> <br /> Mayor Biard inquired of Council Members if they wished to pull any items from the <br /> Consent Agenda for discussion. There were none. <br /> <br /> A Motion to approve the Consent Agenda was made by Council Member Rhonda Rogers <br /> and seconded by Council Member Pickle. The Council voted six (6) for and none (0) opposed to <br /> approve and adopt Consent Agenda Items 5, and 6. <br /> <br /> 5. Deliberate and act on the approval of minutes from the meeting on September 27, 2010. <br /> 6. Receive and deliberate on reports and/or minutes from the following boards, <br /> commissions, and committees: <br /> <br /> <br /> a. Historic Preservation Commission minutes (8-23-2010) <br /> b. Planning & Zoning Commission minutes (9-7-2010) <br /> c. Board of Adjustment minutes (8-3-10) <br /> <br /> Reeular Agenda <br /> <br /> 7. Deliberate and possibly act on the Preliminary Plat and Final Plat of Lot 1, Block A, <br /> Martin Addition 331, located in the 3700 Block of Bonham Street. <br /> <br /> A Motion to approve the Preliminary Plat and the Final Plat was made by Council <br /> Member Brown and seconded by Council Member Pickle. Motion carried, 6 ayes - 0 nays. <br /> <br /> 8. Deliberate and possibly act on a RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br /> CITY OF PARIS, TEXAS, APPROVING AND ACCEPTING A PROPOSAL FOR <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> 000, <br />
