Motion carried, 7 ayes - 0 nays. <br />15. Convene into Executive Session pursuant to Section 551.074 of the Texas Government <br />Code to deliberate the appointment, employment, evaluation, reassignment, duties, <br />discipline, or dismissal of a public officer or employee, to-wit: the City Manager. <br />Mayor Biard recessed City Council at 7:43 p.m. for a five ininute break, and then <br />convened Council into executive session. <br />16. Reconvene into open session and possibly discuss and/or act on matters discussed in <br />executive session. <br />Mayor Biard reconvened City Council into open session at 8:18 p.m, and said there was <br />no action to be taken. <br />17. Consider and approve future events for City Council and/or City Staff pursuant to <br />Resolution No. 2004-081. <br />Council Member Rhonda Rogers said that she would like to attend the upcoming Texas <br />Elected Municipal Officials Convention on February 13 `h in Austin, Texas. <br />Council Member Jason Rogers reminded everyone of the Annual Christmas Banquet on <br />December 10`h. <br />18. Adjournment. <br />There being no further business, a Motion to adjourn was made by Council Member <br />McCarthy and was seconded by Council Member Jason Rogers.
