CITY COUNCIL AGENDA Notice is hereby given that the City Council of the City of Paris shall meet in special session at 5:30 p.m. on Monday, December 20, 2010. The meeting will be held at the City Council Chamber, 107 E. Kaufman Street, in Paris, Texas. The matters to be discussed and acted upon are as follows: 1. Call meeting to order. 2. Deliberate and possibly act on a Resolution accepting the bid and awarding a contract to Spann Concrete Construction, L.L.C., for the repair and renovation of the Bywaters Park Paris Peristyle; and authorizing the Mayor to negotiate and execute all necessary documents. 3. Deliberate and possibly act on a Resolution accepting the bid and awarding a contract to BRYCO/Bryant Company for repair and renovation of the Bywaters Park Paris Peristyle; and authorizing the Mayor to negotiate and execute all necessary documents. 4. Deliberate and possibly act on a Resolution terminating the month-to-month landfill services agreement with Waste Management effective 11:59 p.m. on December 31, 2010; and authorizing the Mayor to negotiate and execute all necessary documents. 5. Deliberate and possibly act on a Resolution awarding a month-to-month contract to Sanitation Solutions for landfill services and related waste services; and authorizing the Mayor to negotiate and execute all necessary documents. 6. Deliberate and possibly act on a Resolution approving a proposal for redistricting services with Guinn & Morrison for redistricting analysis; and authorizing the Mayor to negotiate and execute all necessary documents. 7. Deliberate and possibly act on a Resolution authorizing two professional services agreements with Hayter Engineering, Inc. for engineering services related to the inspection of the dams at Lake Crook and Lake Gibbons and the preparation of Emergency Action Plans; and authorizing the Mayor to negotiate and execute all necessary documents. 8. Convene into Executive Session pursuant to Section 551.074 of the Texas Government Code to deliberate the appointment, employment, evaluation, reassignment, duties, discipline, or dismissal of a public officer or employee, to-wit: the City Manager. 9. Reconvene into open session to possibly deliberate and/or act on those matters discussed in Executive Session. 10. Deliberate and possibly act on a Resolution approving and accepting the Separation Agreement between the City Manager and the City of Paris; and authorizing the Mayor to negotiate and execute all necessary documents.
