3. Under-canopy and Blade signs: Amend the Ordinances and Standards similar to the <br />following: <br />Under-canopy signs shall be permitted up to 12" deep and one foot shorter than <br />the canopy to which they are attached. Blade signs shall not extend further than one foot <br />behind the back of any curb. The area of under-canopy and blade signs shall include all <br />borders. Any bracing and support structures shall not be included in figuring the area. <br />The current eight-foot minimum clearance from the sidewalk surface to the bottom edge <br />of any under-canopy or blade sign shall be maintained. Any under-canopy and blade <br />signs shall be exempt from the computational formula for attached signage, and under- <br />canopy and blade signs shall be permitted in addition to any attached signage. <br />Ben M.
